Northwest Adventist Federal Credit Union is hiring a full-time Member Solutions Specialist to join our in-person team. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, working in a fast-paced environment, and supporting both member service and collections-related tasks.

The Member Solutions Specialist will assist members with everyday banking needs while also supporting the Collections Department with follow-up, communication, reporting, and account monitoring. This role requires someone who can shift smoothly between tasks, handle interruptions, stay calm under pressure, and follow through with accuracy and care.

Position Details

Job Title: Member Solutions Specialist
Employment Type: Full-time
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Work Location: In person
Pay Range: $20 to $25 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent member service in person, by phone, and through email
  • Assist members with teller transactions, account questions, transfers, debit card needs, online banking help, and other requests
  • Support the Collections Department with reminder calls, letters, payment arrangements, and tracking promises to pay
  • Assist the Collections Manager with collection-related tasks and follow-up
  • Monitor negative share accounts and dormant accounts
  • Contact members as needed regarding account status, negative balances, dormancy, or follow-up items
  • Prepare and assist with letters, reports, tracking, and account follow-up
  • Maintain accurate records and protect confidential member information
  • Follow credit union procedures and complete work with care and accuracy

Qualifications

  • No prior credit union or banking experience required
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Comfortable using phones, email, computers, and office systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to protect confidential information
  • Willingness to learn credit union systems, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Must be able to pass a background check and reference checks
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred

Northwest Adventist Federal Credit Union is hiring a full-time Member Operations Specialist to join our in-person team. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys serving people, solving problems, digging into details, and supporting both front-line member service and back-office operations.

The Member Operations Specialist will assist members with everyday service needs while also helping with operational tasks such as new accounts, wires, fraud support, account corrections, debit cards, file maintenance, daily reports, and back-office reporting. This role requires someone who can stay accurate, organized, and calm while shifting between tasks throughout the day.

This is not a one-task-at-a-time position. The right person will enjoy research, follow-through, and “detective work.” They must be comfortable being interrupted, changing direction when needed, and still completing work with care and accuracy.

  • Assist with new accounts and member account updates
  • Support wire processing, debit card requests, fraud-related tasks, and account corrections
  • Complete file maintenance with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Research member questions, account issues, and operational discrepancies
  • Prepare and review daily reports and back-office reports
  • Use the core system, web portals, Excel, Word, email, and phone systems
  • Follow credit union procedures and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Shift between member service, operational tasks, and urgent requests throughout the day
